A September, 2013 article discusses the unveiling of Google’s new algorithm, Hummingbird. As the excerpt states, there’s no need for you to worry about how the algorithm will affect your website if your SEO efforts have been producing quality content all this time. If they haven't, it may be time to refocus your efforts and work with a Spokane internet marketing specialist who can help you achieve SEO success.
Coming up with high quality content is not that hard. The one thing to keep in mind is that your content is first and foremost for people, not for search engines. If you have to choose between two techniques wherein one is good for the readers but not for the search engines and the other is good for the search engines but not for the readers, choose the former at all times.

Spokane Internet Marketing and Duplicate Content: It’s Nigh Unavoidable
In his column entitled “5 Tips for Punching Writer’s Block in the Face,” writer Robert Brockway wrote that you don’t need to worry about originality. For that matter, it’s almost futile to worry about originality. Everything that has been set on paper is a reference or shout-out to another that has also been set on paper, which is also a reference to another and so on.
Fellow writers couldn’t agree more. They accept the fact that their works aren’t purely original, yet they manage to rewire the whole thing to make it more interesting (minus the plagiarism, of course). The same thing applies to internet marketing in Spokane and elsewhere. Regardless of what you do, there will always be duplicate content in some form or other.
Should you panic? Since Google rolled out some anti-spam updates for its algorithms, the search engine hasn’t been kind to duplicate content. However, Matt Cutts tells everyone to chill out.
